Registering a Prototype from a Document

  1. Open the prototype document that you want to register with ProjectWise.
  2. From the Object menu, select Register document with ProjectWise.

    The Register in ProjectWise page appears, displaying the Registration Mode as "Reference", and the ProjectWise Path of the folder where the document will be saved.

    Note: A "Reference" Registration Mode indicates that the file attached to the protoype document resides in ProjectWise, and that ALIM Web is referencing that file via a hyperlink.
  3. Click Register. A temporary message appears stating that the request to register the document was submitted.
When the registration job is complete, the document is registered with ProjectWise.
